The same thing is now happening on social media.
Enter social shows: video series on social media that people recognize and come back for, like a TV show, but built for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube.
It can take many forms:
A social show, also called social TV, is built around one clear idea, a consistent format and authentic storytelling.
The guests can change. The story evolves. But the format stays. That consistency creates expectation.
And meeting expectations, over and over again, creates a habit.
WHY WE EXIST

Hi, I’m Sofie.
I started my career creating campaigns and creative concepts for brands. But most of the time, it felt too corporate. Too distant.
So I moved into television, where storytelling, formats and series are everything. And I loved it!
At the same time, I was building my own food brand with my partner Maarten. Posting online between production days, events and invoices.
No time. No budget. Every post felt like starting from scratch.

So I started scrolling, binging and studying the great storytellers online. Because they understand something most brands still miss: people don’t come back for random posts. They come back for things they recognize.
For stories they want to follow. Just like your favorite tv-show.
So, that’s why I stopped working on TV-shows and started building social shows.
